An all grain feed consisting of locally grown corn, soy meal with added vitamins, minerals, but NO ANTIBIOTICS and NO HORMONES, is fed along with vitamins, electrolytes and mineral in the water.All birds are processed at an OFFICIAL (By Iowa State Law for commercially sold chickens). They are then double bagged for improved freezer storage.I have 7 commercial freezer where the birds are frozen after processing.To bring my birds home to my freezer building from the processing plant (1 hr 45 min away) they are packed with ice in two frezer boxes on my pickup. Additional Information I raise Muscovy ducks along with my Pekins. You cannot buy Muscovies from a hatchery, as they are too difficult to incubate. They are a much sought after bird by my customers. |
